Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Requires operators of Boeing 737-300/‑400/‑500 aircraft (up to line 2764) to perform inspections of the elevator feel and centering unit in line with FAA AD 96-25-17 to prevent sudden high control‑column forces. Installing supports and a stop‑bolt per Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 737-27A1194 ends the need for repetitive inspections, provided no damage is found.
