Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This AD mandates that Boeing 727s fitted with ABEX pump motor P/N 57186 comply with FAA AD 87-02-05 R1 (superseding an earlier FAA AD) and references Boeing Service Bulletins 727-29-47 Rev 2 and 727-29-55. It affects aircraft owners/operators and maintenance providers, imports the FAA’s “terminating action,” and requires actions and costs set out in those external documents — making compliance dependent on and limited to the referenced FAA/Boeing materials.
