AD/B727/74 Amdt 1 - Elevator Balance Panel Aft Hinge - Inspection

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of all Boeing 727 models to inspect the elevator balance‑panel aft hinge using Boeing Service Bulletin No. 727‑55‑A65 or FAA AD 76‑15‑06. It corrects an earlier error in the FAA AD citation and became effective 25 June 2010.

Aircraft operators bear the inspection and compliance costs; compliance with the original 1976 issue (250 flight‑hour deadline from 29 October 1976) already satisfies this amendment. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority enforces the requirement through its delegate.
