Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD requires all Boeing 727 aircraft to have the side engine gearbox breather duct modified immediately, carried out exactly per Boeing Service Bulletin No. 71‑34. Issued and enforceable by CASA under Part 39, compliance is “forthwith,” so operators/owners must obtain and implement the SB without delay. The AD mandates the work but does not state the specific unsafe condition, costs, or funding.
