Applicability:	All Model 727, 727C, 727-100, -100C, -200, and -200F series aircraft.
Requirement:	Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 2007-12-14 Amdt 39-15092.Note: Boeing Service Bulletin 727-53A0198 Revision 3, or later FAA approved revision, refers.
Compliance:	As specified in the Requirement document, with a revised effective date of2 August 2007.
	This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 2 August 2007.
Background:	The FAA received reports of skin and bear strap cracks at hinge cutouts of the forward entry door. Unless detected and corrected, such cracks could result in rapid decompression of the aircraft.
