AD/B-2/7 - Main Rotor Blade Dampers - Installation - CANCELLED

What this is: This document formally cancels an old aircraft safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive or AD) that applied to Brantly B-2 helicopters.

What the old rule required: The original directive from 1960 forced owners to install an improved main rotor blade damping system (basically shock absorbers for the rotor blades) to reduce dangerous swinging or vibration.

What this document does: It officially scraps that old rule effective 4 June 2009.

Why it matters: The authority cancelled this rule because every affected helicopter was already modified decades ago. The cancellation simply cleans up the rulebook by removing a requirement that everyone has already met. No further action is required by aircraft owners.
