Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This mandatory CASA Airworthiness Directive requires all Brantly B‑2 owners/operators in Australia to get the helicopter’s overrunning clutch modified per Brantly Service Letter No. 1 and update the cockpit placard forthwith. It corrects a known clutch defect that can prevent autorotation after engine failure, reducing a significant crash risk.
