Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires immediate compliance by owners/operators of Brantly B‑2 helicopters fitted with old-type KAHR. HE3SFN rod end bearings on the forward undercarriage drag struts: follow the workmanship and corrective steps in Brantly Service Bulletin No. 11 forthwith.

It matters because affected operators must bear inspection, repair or replacement costs and aircraft downtime, while maintenance and parts suppliers see increased demand.
