AD/ATR 42/28 - Barrel - Swinging Lever Hinge

This Airworthiness Directive requires ATR 42‑200/300/320 aeroplanes that have not incorporated Messier‑Dowty Service Bulletin 631‑32‑145 to have that modification embodied. CASA (signed by its delegate) issues the directive; owners/operators must complete the modification — before issue of a certificate of airworthiness if none exists, or before the first flight after 20 June 2011 if the aircraft is certificated. The DGAC had required periodic inspections until the bulletin was incorporated.
