Applicability:	Model ATR 42-300 and -320 aircraft, all serial numbers, without ATR Service Bulletin ATR42-32-0017 incorporated (Modification 1536 that introduces reinforced wheels ref. 500 6856-3).
Requirement:	Action in accordance with the requirements of DGAC AD 87-091-006(B) R1.
Compliance:	As specified in the Requirement document.
	This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 2 August 2007.
Background:	A report was received of the failure of the internal half rim radii of a main landing gear wheel during the acceleration stage of take-off. This Directive requires visual and NDT inspections of the affected wheels.
