Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners/operators of specified Air Tractor AT‑300/301/302/400/400A aircraft must follow Air Tractor Service Letter No. 90 to inspect for and correct corroded wing spar caps before 30 September 1992 and then at least annually. This AD shifts implementation to the manufacturer’s procedure, imposes recurring inspection and repair costs and downtime on owners, and aims to prevent wing-structure failure.
