Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners of Airtractor AT‑301 and AT‑401 agricultural aircraft to correct unsafe electrical wiring—undersized cables to the master relay/alternator/starter, absence of a voltmeter circuit breaker, and an incorrectly rated alternator breaker—by complying with Field Air Engineering Order 091 or an authority‑approved alternative, completed by 31 December 1990. The fixes address fire and complete electrical‑failure risks that could cause crashes during low‑level agricultural operations.
