What this is: This document cancels a previous aviation safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive or AD) that applied to specific aircraft turbine engines.
Who it affects: Owners and operators of Turbomeca Astazou series turbine engines.
What changed:
Why it matters: If you operate these engines, you no longer need to check this separate directive. The safety requirements still exist, but they are now found in the standard engine certification paperwork instead of this separate rule.
