Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

The AD mandates that operators of Eurocopter AS 355 Models E, F, F1, F2 and N fitted with cyclic pitch change control rod P/No 704A34-113-279 and without autopilot must carry out Eurocopter Service Bulletin 01‑38 within 100 hours TIS after 13 October 1994.

This affects those operators/owners, who must pay for parts, labour and downtime; the action addresses a manufacturer‑identified safety concern with some control rods.
