Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Hamilton Standard T‑62T APUs fitted with compressor wheel P/N 100636-1 to replace that wheel with P/N 4503164, 4504174, or M4504174. The AD distinguishes cast and wrought wheels by lot/serial identifiers and sets different compliance windows measured in cycles since new.

CASA issued the AD to correct an identified unsafe condition; operators bear the cost and scheduling burden, must track cycle counts and complete replacements within the specified cycle windows, and regulatory authorities enforce compliance.
