Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires immediate inspection of left and right engine-mount frames on Avro Anson aircraft for bowing. If bowing exceeds 0.125 in between the torque-tube attachment and top face, or 0.0625 in between distance pieces, maintenance must remove rivets and distance pieces, straighten the flanges, fit new distance pieces, and replace hollow rivets with 1/4 in BSF mild‑steel bolts and locked nuts.

Owners/operators bear inspection, repair and downtime costs; licensed maintenance personnel must perform measurements and repairs. Rear-face bowing at the spar attachment may be ignored.
