Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Civil Aviation Safety Authority airworthiness directive applies to specified AMD Falcon 50 aeroplanes and requires owners/operators to carry out the corrective work detailed in Service Bulletin AMD/BA F50-182 before any further flight after 30 June 1986. It was issued because water entrapment in Aviac actuators (P/N 2773) can cause dormant failure of the booster crossfeed valve, risking engine feed loss. Compliance and costs fall to operators; the AD also references Bureau Veritas AD 86-55-4 (B).
