Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This amendment to an Airworthiness Directive requires certain Dassault Mystere Falcon 50, 900 and 900EX aeroplanes (specified serial numbers) to update their flight and maintenance manuals, perform a hinge inspection per the revised maintenance chapter, and carry out work called for in Dassault service bulletins to address deformation of the horizontal stabiliser hinge. Amendment 1 removes a previously mandatory post‑stall inspection from the maintenance instructions; operators must meet the directive’s dates or flight‑cycle limits and bear the cost and downtime.
