Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This mandatory Airworthiness Directive requires all Mystere Falcon 200 operators to inspect the wing-to-fuselage upper fairings for damage/security and to install cup washers under vertical‑seam screw heads per the maintenance procedure. Initial inspection is due before 31 Aug 1997 or within 330 flight hours after 30 Jan 1997, whichever comes first; follow‑on checks are every 6 months or 300 flight hours. It prevents fairings detaching in flight, a hazard to the aircraft and people on the ground.
