Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Directive requires a daily inspection of the wing lower skin on Aermacchi‑Lockheed AL 60 and AL 60B aeroplanes to detect aileron interference, using the procedure in Aermacchi Lockheed 60 SB No. 4.

It affects owners/operators, with pilots‑in‑command allowed to perform the check without certification or Licensed AMEs able to perform and certify it; it creates a small recurring operational cost and shifts some maintenance workload and recordkeeping choices.
