AD/AL 60/10 - Front Seat Restraint Installation - Modification - CANCELLED

What this is: A cancellation notice for an old aircraft safety rule.

What it used to do: Originally issued in 1972, this directive required owners of Aermacchi-Lockheed AL 60 series aircraft (certified before 1967) to install upper torso restraints (shoulder harnesses) for front seats.

What it does now: Nothing. This directive was cancelled on 17 January 2008 and replaced by a newer general directive (AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1).

Who cares: Owners and operators of these specific aircraft types no longer need to follow this particular rule—though they must comply with the replacement directive instead.
