Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires operators of Allison 250‑C30 series turbine engines to inspect the No. 8 bearing pressure oil tube and, depending on prior compliance, remove and replace specified oil‑tube assemblies and fittings with the part numbers named in the manufacturer's service bulletin. Operators must carry out daily inspections until the engine is modified and meet set deadlines for replacement. Operators pay for inspections, parts and installation; the Civil Aviation Safety Authority mandates compliance and sets the deadlines. The amendment requires removal of an interim tube (P/N 23037410) to correct a dimensional problem.
