Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this means:

If you own or operate specific Twin Commander aircraft (models 690/690A with serial numbers 111001–11268, or model 685 with serial numbers 12000–12066), you must install warning placards on any aft-facing (backward-facing) passenger seats.

What you need to do:

Install placards following Rockwell International's Service Bulletin No. 155
You can manufacture these placards yourself locally, as long as the wording matches exactly what's in the Service Bulletin
This must be done before the aircraft flies again with any aft-facing passenger seats installed

Why this matters:

This is a mandatory safety requirement to ensure passengers sitting in backward-facing seats receive appropriate safety information (such as brace positions or safety instructions specific to aft-facing seats).
