Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners/operators of S.L. Industries Commander 100 and Volair 10 series aeroplanes (SNs 251–360 and 5001–5213) must inspect the nose‑gear scissors before every flight until that part is replaced, and must replace it within 50 flight hours after 28 Feb 1973. Pilots may perform and certify the required preflight inspection. This prevents nose‑gear failure that could cause loss of directional control or damage.
