Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of A330 aeroplanes that have had cargo restraint strap assemblies P/N 1519-MCIDS fitted under STC ST01004NY to amend their Aircraft Flight Manual and Weight & Balance Manual within 14 days. The change bars using those straps as the sole means to secure TSO C90c/NAS3610 pallets; they may still be used as supplemental restraints or to secure cargo to floor fittings within their 5,000 lb rating.
