Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of certain Airbus A330 aeroplanes (specific manufacturing serial numbers) to inspect the windshield central retainer following Airbus Service Bulletin A330-56-3006. The inspection was ordered because production bolts may be too short for safe nut engagement. Operators must complete the inspection within six months after 15 May 2003. The cost and duty to comply fall on the aircraft operators; the regulator enforces the requirement.
