Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This mandatory Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Airbus A319/A320/A321 aircraft (unless they have Mod. 21283 or SB A320-57-1025 Rev. 2 installed) to inspect the wing rear spar pressurised floor pick-up angles per Airbus Service Bulletin A320-57-1090 and to repair any cracks per SB A320-57-1025 Rev. 2. Inspections must be done before 20,000 flight cycles and repeated every 10,000 cycles to prevent fatigue-related structural failure.
