Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This CASA airworthiness directive orders operators of Airbus A320/A321 aircraft (without Mod 24612 or Service Bulletin A320‑31‑1080 applied) to install improved Flight Warning Computers by 30 November 1996. It fixes an ECAM software bug that could fail to display required emergency procedures if flaps jam in the FULL position, risking loss of critical pilot guidance. After compliance, the temporary Flight Manual revision may be removed.
