Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires listed Airbus A319/A320/A321 aeroplanes that have not incorporated Service Bulletin (SB) A320‑53‑1023 Rev.7 to carry out the inspections or modifications described in SB A320‑53‑1024 Rev.2 before reaching 12,000 flights and then at the intervals the SB specifies. It responds to fatigue cracking found in the pressure floor between frames 42 and 43; operators pay for the work, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority enforces compliance, and incorporating SB A320‑53‑1023 Rev.7 terminates the repeated inspection requirement.
