Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This AD applies to all Airbus A320 series aeroplanes and mandates repetitive elevator deflection checks and elevator‑actuator inspections (per DGAC AD 91‑272‑023(B)R2 and referenced Airbus service bulletins) to prevent in‑flight elevator vibration. The amendment broadens actuator‑fitting inspections and gives credit for operators who already complied with the initial Airbus SB. Operators/owners must absorb costs, schedule recurring maintenance into programmes, and consult the referenced documents to determine compliance and eligibility for credit.
