| Applicability: | Model A321-111, -112, and -131 aircraft, all serial numbers, except aircraft with AIRBUS modification 24977 incorporated in production or Airbus Service Bulletin A320-57-1100 incorporated in service. |

| Requirement: | Action in accordance with the requirements of EASA AD 2007-0162. |
| Compliance: | As specified in the Requirement document, with a revised effective date of5 June 2008. |
| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 5 June 2008. | |
| Background: | The EASA requires inspection of the attachment holes in the left hand and right hand wing inner rear spars to detect fatigue cracks, which could affect the structural integrity of the aircraft. |
