| Applicability: | All Model A321 aircraft, all serial numbers, which have received AIRBUS modification 24982, and without Airbus modification 30046 incorporated during production or AIRBUS Service Bulletin A320-32-1229 incorporated in service. |

| Compliance: | Unless already accomplished, before 5 July 2008. |
| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 5 June 2008. | |
| Background: | During development qualification program of 93T MTOW (mod. 30046), complementary tests performed revealed that the MLG side-stay crashworthiness pins installed with mod. 24982 were not compatible for aircraft up to 89T MTOW. |
