| Background: | AD/A320/102 was based on DGAC AD 1999-263-134(B), mandating the embodiment of Service Bulletin (SB) A320-24-1092 Revision 3. The SB calls for the relocation of the engine/master 1 relay 11QG to avoid any risk of simultaneous cut-off of the fuel supply to both engines by the low pressure shut-off valves by water ingress in relay box 103VU. Revision 3 replaced Revisions 1 and 2 which contained erroneous instructions. |
| On 20 July 2002, DGAC AD 1999-263-134(B) was cancelled and replaced with DGAC AC 2002-365(B) which mandates the adherence to SB A320-24-1092 Revision 4. It requires additional testing following the relay relocation.Amendment 1 is issued to reflect the cancellation of DGAC AD 1999-263-134(B) and release of DGAC AC 2002-365(B) which mandates SB A320-24-1092 Revision 4.This AD replaces AD/A320/102 which is cancelled. It incorporates the initial requirements of DGAC AD 1999-263-134(B). |
