Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Mechanically: fit a single recessed guide bush with a screwed grease fitting to the passenger door upper safety‑pin assembly, following the instructions in DGAC AD 2001-100(B) and related Airbus documents. This applies to all Airbus A319/A320/A321 aircraft that have not already had Airbus modification 27142 or Service Bulletin A320-52-1105 installed.

Operators must schedule and pay for the retrofit to remove a jamming risk during upper safety‑pin translation; CASA enforces compliance under the AD.
