Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires operators of Agusta A119 helicopters (serials up to and including 14037, except 14036) to carry out the inspections and corrective work set out in Agusta Technical Bulletin No.119-8 Parts I and II — effectively inspect and check/retorque or replace the transmission support fitting bolts within short flight‑hour deadlines. CASA's delegate issued the directive after reports of bolt fractures caused by insufficient torque. Operators must pay for and schedule the work, follow the manufacturer instructions exactly, and meet the 5- and 25-flight-hour compliance windows.
