Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Agusta A109E helicopters fitted with certain damper assemblies to inspect and, where indicated, modify those dampers to prevent loosening of the locking system that has increased vibration. CASA (via its delegate) sets short compliance deadlines, so operators must schedule inspections/modifications promptly and will bear the maintenance cost and any effect on flight availability.
