| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 26 October 2006. | |
| Background: | During routine inspection of an aircraft at PAC, a row of rivets on top of the fuselage were identified as being 1/8-inch solid rivets rather than the specified 5/32-inch solid rivets. Inspection of other aircraft at PAC revealed all had correct specification rivets. As this rivet error could have occurred in earlier production aircraft, this Directive requires a detailed inspection of certain fuselage top rivets. |
