> > (1) Subject to [subsection (2)](#GS39B@Gs2@EN) , judicial notice is to be taken of any order made under an Act by a Minister –
> >
> > > > (a) that is published in the *Gazette*, in the case of an order that is not a statutory rule within the meaning of the [Rules Publication Act 1953](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1953-050) ; or
> > >
> > > > (b) the making of which is notified in the *Gazette*, in the case of an order that is a statutory rule within the meaning of that Act.

> > (2) A court, judge or justice may require proof of –
> >
> > > > (a) the making of an order; or
> > >
> > > > (b) the publication of an order in the *Gazette*; or
> > >
> > > > (c) the notification in the *Gazette* of the making of an order.
