> > (1) [*\[Section 30 Subsection (1) amended by No. 29 of 2018, s. 10, Applied:10 Dec 2018\]*](/view/html/inforce/2018-12-10/act-2018-029#GS10@Hpb@EN) [*\[Section 30 Subsection (1) amended by No. 29 of 2018, s. 10, Applied:10 Dec 2018\]*](/view/html/inforce/2018-12-10/act-2018-029#GS10@Hpa@EN) *\[Section 30 Subsection (1) amended by No. 20 of 1992, s. 8 \]*Where any Act, including this Act, authorizes or requires any notice or other document to be given, sent, served, or delivered by post, such giving, sending, serving, or delivery shall be deemed to be effected by properly addressing and posting the document as a letter and paying for that postage (whether before or after the letter is posted) and, unless the contrary is proved, shall be deemed to have been effected at the time when the letter would be delivered in the ordinary course of post.
