20 Exercise of powers and performance of duties
*[Section 20 Amended by No. 29 of 1984, s. 3 and Sched. 1 ]*Where an Act confers a power or imposes a duty, the power may be exercised and the duty shall be performed –
(a) from time to time as occasion may require; and
(b) [Section 20 Amended by No. 86 of 2000, Sched. 1, Applied:01 May 2001] if conferred or imposed on the holder of any office, position or appointment as such, by the holder for the time being of such office, position or appointment.
