Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This Order cancels (repeals) a previous rule that set specific academic progress requirements for students at the Australian National University (ANU) College of Business and Economics.

What it does

Removes the Academic Progress (ANU College of Business and Economics) Order 2009 from operation
Eliminates the specific academic progress standards that applied only to this particular College

Who it affects

Students enrolled in the ANU College of Business and Economics
University staff responsible for monitoring academic progress and enrolment decisions for these students

Why it matters Students in the College are no longer subject to those specific rules. They will now be assessed under the general Academic Progress Rules 2009 (or other applicable university-wide rules) instead. This effectively standardises how academic progress is managed across the University or indicates that the College-specific requirements were no longer necessary.
