Tasmania act
This Act amends the Aboriginal Lands Act 1995 and the Crown Lands Act 1976 (the textual changes are recorded in the authorised versions of those Acts) and vests a specific parcel of Crown land (folio Volume 142363 Folio 1) in Morton Lyell Summers of Cape Barren Island. For that parcel, most provisions of the Crown Lands Act are displaced while a small number of its provisions remain in force. The Act takes effect on Royal Assent.

This Act may be cited as the Aboriginal Lands Amendment Act 2005 .
This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
In this Part, the Aboriginal Lands Act 1995 is referred to as the Principal Act.

(1) The land described in the folio of the Register Volume 142363 Folio 1 is vested in Morton Lyell Summers of Long Beach Road, Cape Barren Island in Tasmania.
(2) Subject to subsection (3) , the provisions of the Crown Lands Act 1976 do not apply to the land described in subsection (1) .
(3) Section 16(2), (3) and (4) and section 54(1) of the Crown Lands Act 1976 apply to the land described in subsection (1) .
