### 41 Regulations > > (1)  The Governor, if satisfied that the Council has been consulted, may make regulations for the purposes of this Act. > > > (2)  [*\[Section 41 Subsection (2) substituted by No. 8 of 1999, s. 6, Applied:16 Apr 1999\]*](/view/html/inforce/1999-04-16/act-1999-008#GS6@EN) Without limiting [subsection (1)](#GS41@Gs1@EN) , the regulations may make provision for or with respect to – > > > > > > (a) the election of members of the Council; and > > > > > > > (b) the conduct, control and management by the Council of the Settlement Point cemetery shown on Plan 4806 in the Central Plan Register. > > > (3)  The regulations may be made so as to apply differently according to matters, limitations or restrictions, whether as to time, circumstance or otherwise, specified in the regulations. > > > (4)  The regulations may authorise any matter to be from time to time determined, applied or regulated by the Council. > > > (5)  The regulations may contain provisions of a savings or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of this Act. > > > (6)  A provision referred to in [subsection (5)](#GS41@Gs5@EN) may, if the regulations so provide, take effect from the commencement of this Act or a later date.
