3 Definitions
(1) In this Regulation—
deputy electoral officer means a person appointed as a deputy electoral officer for an election of a councillor of the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council.
regional electoral officer means a person appointed as a regional electoral officer for an election of a councillor of the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council.
rules, in relation to an Aboriginal Land Council, means rules for the time being in force under the Act and applying to that Council.
the Act means the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983.
the rules of the Court means rules made under the Land and Environment Court Act 1979 in relation to proceedings brought before the Court under the Act or this Regulation.
Note.
The Act and the Interpretation Act 1987 contain definitions and other provisions that affect the interpretation and application of this Regulation.
(2) Notes included in this Regulation do not form part of this Regulation.
