#### 65JB Delegation by CEO (1) The CEO may, in writing, delegate any of the CEO’s powers or functions under this Act to a member of the staff referred to in section 65H. (2) In exercising any powers or performing any functions under the delegation, the delegate must comply with any directions of the CEO. (3) Before delegating under subsection (1) a power or function to a member of the staff referred to in section 65H, the CEO must have regard to: (a) if the power or function is to be delegated to a person holding, occupying, or performing the duties of, a specified office or position—whether the office or position is sufficiently senior for the person to exercise the power or perform the function; or (b) otherwise—whether the person has appropriate qualifications or expertise to exercise the power or perform the function.
