#### 65GB Appointment (1) The CEO is to be appointed by the Board with the written agreement of the Minister. (2) The CEO is to be appointed: (a) by written instrument; and (b) on a full‑time basis. > Note: The CEO may be reappointed: see section 33AA of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901. (3) The CEO holds office for the period specified in the instrument of appointment. The period must not exceed 5 years. (4) A person is not eligible to be appointed as the CEO if the person is: (a) a Board member; or (b) a member of a Land Council; or (c) a member of staff of a Land Council.
