#### 65EC Appointment of Board members by Commonwealth Ministers (1) The Minister must, by written instrument, appoint one person to be a Board member under paragraph 65EA(b). (2) The Finance Minister must, by written instrument, appoint one person to be a Board member under paragraph 65EA(c). (3) A person is not eligible for appointment under subsection (1) or (2) unless the relevant Minister is satisfied that the person has expertise in either or both of the following: (a) land, water or environmental management; (b) business or financial management. > Note: See also subsection 65EG(2) for term limits.
