#### 54D Reference of question of law to Federal Court (1) A Commissioner may refer a question of law arising in connection with an application referred to in paragraph 50(1)(a) made to the Commissioner to the Federal Court of Australia for determination. (2) The Federal Court of Australia has jurisdiction to hear and determine a question of law referred to it under subsection (1) and that jurisdiction shall be exercised by that Court constituted as a Full Court. (3) Where a question of law arising in connection with such an application has been referred to the Federal Court of Australia under this section, a Commissioner shall not: (a) make a finding to which the question is relevant while the reference is pending; or (b) exercise the functions of a Commissioner under paragraph (1)(a) in a manner that is inconsistent with the determination of the Federal Court on the question.
