39Minister may give directions about Land Council finances

#### 39 Minister may give directions about Land Council finances (1) The Minister may give a written direction to a Land Council about the administration of the Council’s finances. (2) A direction under subsection (1) must not be inconsistent with: (a) this Act or the regulations under this Act; or (b) the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, or any legislative instruments made under that Act. (3) A Land Council must comply with a direction that is in force under subsection (1). (4) A direction under subsection (1) is not a legislative instrument.
