#### 21 Establishment of Land Councils (1) The Minister shall, on the commencement of this section, by notice published in the Gazette, divide the Northern Territory into at least 2 areas and establish an Aboriginal Land Council for each area. > Note: New Land Councils may also be established: see sections 21A to 21D. (2) A notice published under subsection (1) shall, in respect of each Aboriginal Land Council, set out: (a) the name of the Council; and (b) the boundaries of the area for which the Council is established.
